Before he became the successful CEO of Buddy’s Restaurant that he is now, Salvador “Buddy” Veluz used to sell fresh crops and vegetables in Divisoria, Manila. The first-ever dish that Buddy sold to customers is fresh lumpia made from the Baguio beans he’s been selling. He then began roaming around his hometown in Lucban, Quezon selling his signature fresh lumpia, and boy oh boy it quickly became a hit! This is the very moment that inspired Buddy to use his passion for cooking as a means of putting up his very own business. And thus, Buddy’s Restaurant is born.
