The waterfall is one of the most amazing natural wonders on our planet. It is both beautiful and powerful, and being around it stimulates our sense of sight, hearing, and smell. You can be looking at a waterfall for hours and not recognize the time that has passed because of sheer amazement.
The Philippines is blessed with many falls, some of which I have already featured in my previous blog, including Kawasan Falls, Maria Cristina Falls, and Lulugayan Falls. This time, let’s get to know some of the lesser-known and hidden waterfalls in the country that will surely captivate you.

Taktak Falls (Siargao)

If you love Siargao, Taktak Falls is another reason you would want to visit it or even invest in a Siargao lot for sale to build your dream vacation home Taktak Falls is located in the northern part of Siargao. If you’re coming from General Luna, a 1.5-hour motorbike ride will take you to reach this waterfall. On your way, you will enjoy the views of the tropical jungle, rice fields, and the ocean. Taktak Falls is about 15 meters high, with a tree overhanging about 5 meters above the pool below.
Nadsadjan Falls (Iloilo)

If you live in a house and lot for sale in Iloilo City, Nadsadjan Falls in Igbaras is one of the fascinating bodies of water you can visit on a day trip. Standing 10 feet high, the water from the falls pours into a cauldron-shaped natural swimming pool. On your hike going to Nadsadjan Falls, you can also see other attractions, including caves, mountains, and even sprawling gardens where you can see a Rafflesia, the biggest flower in the world.
Paradise Falls (Mountain Province)

This waterfall, located in Bauko, Mountain Province, has three layers, the last being the highest. It features a small and shallow pool where you can swim while enjoying the pine-scented breeze surrounding you. The water that falls in this waterfall comes from the pine forest upstream, which is clean and safe for drinking. If you live in a house and lot for sale within or near Mountain Province, visiting Paradise Falls makes for a worthwhile trip for a change of scenery.
Kokop-asun Falls (Mountain Province)

Kokop-asun Falls, located in the mountains of Barlig in Mountain Province, is one of the highest single-drop waterfalls in the country, towering over 200 meters. It will take six to eight hours to hike on dense forest and ridges to reach this waterfall. Though tiring, the views along the way include panoramic views of the mountains and mossy forests. You can also chance the rare, giant Rafflesia flowers along your way.
Tekip Falls (Benguet)

You can witness the majestic beauty of Tekip Falls during the rainy months. This waterfall is one of the unheard-of falls because you have to brave the long and winding road to the Bakun town in Benguet to see it. Once you get here, try to stand on its base and allow the cascading waters to massage you!
