LET September 2026 Results: Release Date, List of Passers & Topnotchers

Thousands of aspiring teachers across the Philippines are taking one of the biggest professional licensure examinations of the year: the September 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, more commonly known as the LET or LEPT.

And once the exam is finished, the next big question is obvious:

When will the September 2026 LET results be released?

According to the official 2026 examination schedule of the Professional Regulation Commission, the September 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers is being administered on Sunday, September 20, 2026. PRC has set November 27, 2026 as the target date for the release of the results.

The results will include the complete lists of successful elementary and secondary examinees, topnotchers, top-performing schools, overall passing percentages and other important announcements from PRC and the Board for Professional Teachers.

Here is everything LET examinees and their families need to know.

LET September 2026 Results Latest Update

As of September 20, 2026, the official LET results have not yet been released.

That is expected because the licensure examination itself is being held today.

PRC’s current schedule lists:

PRC specifically describes November 27 as the target release date, so examinees should remember that the actual publication may still be announced through an official PRC advisory.

This article will serve as a results tracker and can be updated once the official announcement becomes available.

When Will the September 2026 LET Results Be Released?

The most important date to remember is November 27, 2026.

Under PRC Resolution No. 2113, Series of 2025, which contains the official schedule of licensure examinations for 2026, November 27 is the target release date for the results of the September 20 Professional Teachers examination.

So for anyone already refreshing search results immediately after leaving the testing center — yes, there will still be quite a wait.

LET results normally take considerably longer to process than many other board examinations because of the large number of examinees nationwide.

The checking and validation process includes thousands of test papers from numerous testing centers around the country.

Could the LET Results Come Out Earlier?

Yes, that is possible.

The date published in the PRC examination calendar is a target date rather than a guarantee that results will appear at a specific hour on that date.

We saw this earlier in 2026.

For the March 15, 2026 LEPT, PRC’s original target release date was May 15. However, the official results were actually published on May 12, after 39 working days.

That doesn’t mean the September results will definitely arrive early.

It simply means examinees should start monitoring official PRC announcements as the target date approaches instead of assuming the results can only appear on November 27.

September 2026 LET Elementary List of Passers

The official list of successful examinees for the Elementary Level will be posted once released by PRC and the Board for Professional Teachers.

Elementary Level – List of Passers

Status: Awaiting official PRC results.

The complete list normally contains the names of successful examinees arranged alphabetically.

Because the LET can produce tens of thousands of passers, the list may be divided into several sections.

A typical results page may be organized like this:

  • A–B
  • C–D
  • E–G
  • H–L
  • M–Q
  • R–Z

The names should only be considered official once they appear in the results released by PRC.

September 2026 LET Secondary List of Passers

The complete Secondary Level results will also be published once officially announced.

Secondary Level – List of Passers

Status: Awaiting official PRC results.

The secondary examination usually accounts for a large portion of LET examinees, so expect the list of passers to be lengthy.

Secondary examinees take General Education, Professional Education and their corresponding specialization or major.

Once PRC releases the results, this section can be updated with the complete alphabetical list.

September 2026 LET Topnotchers – Elementary

One of the most anticipated parts of every LET result is the Top 10.

PRC separately recognizes the highest-performing examinees in the Elementary and Secondary levels.

PRC regularly publishes a separate announcement recognizing the top-performing examinees. For example, it released dedicated Top 10 announcements following the March 2026 LEPT.

This table will be updated once the September 2026 rankings are official.

September 2026 LET Topnotchers – Secondary

The Secondary Level will have its own ranking of top-performing examinees.

LET Top-Performing Schools

Another result worth watching is the list of top-performing schools.

PRC normally publishes separate rankings for qualifying schools at the Elementary and Secondary levels.

The rankings are based not simply on the highest passing percentage but also on the number of examinees and performance criteria established by the Commission.

For the March 2026 examination, for example, PRC released separate top-performing-school categories based on the number of examinees and required passing percentages.

The September 2026 results are expected to include similar information.

Elementary Top-Performing Schools

Status: To be announced.

Secondary Top-Performing Schools

Status: To be announced.

Overall Performance of Schools

Status: To be announced.

Where Was the September 2026 LET Held?

This is a truly nationwide examination.

PRC scheduled the September 20 LEPT across numerous testing centers including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Testing centers were also designated in locations including Antique, Bacolod, Batanes, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa, Marinduque, Mati, Nueva Vizcaya, Oroquieta, Romblon, San Jose in Occidental Mindoro, Tagum and Valencia.

PRC also announced additional testing centers during the months leading to the examination.

Roxas City was added as an additional testing center in May.

Balangkayan, Eastern Samar and Santiago City were also designated as additional testing centers.

Virac, Catanduanes was later added as another testing center in August.

That gives you an idea of just how large the September LET operation is.

What Score Do You Need to Pass the LET?

To pass the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, an examinee must obtain a general average rating of at least 75 percent.

There is another important condition.

An examinee must not receive a rating below 50 percent in any subject.

This passing requirement comes from Board for Professional Teachers Resolution No. 228, Series of 1996.

So getting exactly 75 percent overall does not automatically guarantee a passing result if one component falls below the minimum required rating.

Elementary vs. Secondary LET

The LET is divided into separate examinations for aspiring elementary and secondary teachers.

Elementary examinees are primarily tested in General Education and Professional Education.

Secondary examinees also take General Education and Professional Education but have an additional specialization component corresponding to their major.

This is one reason the result announcement separates Elementary and Secondary passers, topnotchers and school performance.

How Many Passed the Previous LET?

While the September figures will not be known until PRC releases the results, the March 2026 examination gives us some recent context.

PRC announced that 18,376 out of 32,796 Elementary Level examinees passed the March 2026 LEPT, equivalent to a 56.03 percent passing rate.

For the Secondary Level, 45,001 out of 61,561 examinees passed, equivalent to 73.10 percent.

Combined, that meant 63,377 new professional teachers passed the March examination.

However, previous passing percentages should not be used to predict the September results. Each examination has a different group of candidates and its own actual performance.

September 2026 LET Passing Rate

The official September 2026 passing rate is not yet available.

Once the results are released, PRC is expected to announce:

CategoryExamineesPassersPassing Rate
ElementaryTBATBATBA
SecondaryTBATBATBA
TotalTBATBATBA

We can update these numbers immediately after PRC releases its official announcement.

How to Check the LET Results

Once the results are available, the easiest way to check is through the official Professional Regulation Commission channels.

Go to the PRC website and look for the Examination Results section.

Search for the September 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.

From there, check the Elementary or Secondary list of successful examinees.

Because thousands of people may be checking the website at the same time, the PRC website can sometimes load slowly immediately after major results are announced.

That happens almost every time there is a high-demand board examination result.

If the page temporarily fails to load, don’t immediately assume your name isn’t there.

Try again once traffic settles.

How to Verify Your LET Rating

After the results are released and the verification system is made available, examinees can normally check their individual ratings through PRC’s online services.

You will typically need personal examination information such as:

  • Examination name
  • Examination date
  • Application number
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Birthdate

Make sure the information matches the details used in your PRC application.

The availability of individual ratings may come after or alongside the publication of the main results, depending on PRC’s announcement.

What Happens If You Pass the LET?

First of all, congratulations.

Seeing your name on the list is the part everyone waits for, but there are still a few steps after that.

Successful examinees normally proceed to initial registration with the Professional Regulation Commission and eventually take the Professional Oath before entering professional practice.

PRC will announce the exact registration procedure, registration dates and oathtaking schedule after the results are released.

Don’t rely on an old board examination schedule because arrangements may change from one batch to another.

Wait for the official announcement specific to the September 2026 passers.

Initial Registration for New Professional Teachers

PRC usually requires successful examinees to complete their initial registration through its online system.

Requirements and instructions can include online appointment scheduling and submission of documents required by PRC.

The Commission may also provide information on registration fees and the issuance of the Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card.

The September 2026 registration schedule has not yet been announced.

Once available, it can be added to this article.

LET Oathtaking Schedule

Passing the exam is followed by the oathtaking of the new professional teachers.

PRC holds face-to-face and, in some cases, other authorized oathtaking arrangements depending on the official schedule.

For the March 2026 batch, PRC subsequently published an announcement regarding the face-to-face oathtaking of new professional teachers.

September passers should wait for a separate announcement specifically intended for their batch.

What If Your Name Is Not on the Initial List?

This is understandably the most stressful situation.

Before jumping to conclusions, make sure you are looking at the correct list.

Check whether you took:

Elementary Level

or

Secondary Level.

Then check the correct alphabetical section.

Also make sure you are viewing the official September 2026 list rather than results from March or from a previous year.

In some examinations, PRC may also temporarily withhold the results of certain examinees pending document verification or resolution of other examination-related matters.

For example, in the March 2026 LEPT, PRC reported that results involving several examinees were withheld pending further determination or document verification.

If there is a discrepancy involving your result, PRC should be the primary source for clarification.

Why Do LET Results Take Several Weeks?

If you’re wondering why the waiting period is relatively long, just look at the scale of the examination.

Tens of thousands of aspiring teachers can take a single LEPT schedule.

In March 2026 alone, there were 32,796 elementary examinees and 61,561 secondary examinees — more than 94,000 candidates altogether.

Processing an examination that large requires checking, validation and preparation of multiple sets of official results.

These include not only the passers but also:

  • Individual ratings
  • Topnotchers
  • School performance
  • Top-performing schools
  • Passing percentages
  • Withheld results, if applicable

So yes, waiting until late November can feel like forever after exam day.

But considering the size of the examination, there is a lot happening behind the scenes.

Waiting for the September 2026 LET Results

For thousands of future teachers, September 20 is the culmination of months — sometimes years — of preparation.

There were review centers, practice tests, sleepless nights, memorization sessions and probably more coffee than anyone wants to admit.

And after exam day comes another challenge:

Waiting.

For now, the official date to circle on the calendar is November 27, 2026.

That is PRC’s target date for the release of the September 2026 LET results.

Once the announcement is made, the biggest information to watch for will be the Elementary and Secondary lists of passers, the Top 10 examinees, passing percentages and top-performing schools.

Until then, be careful with unofficial lists circulating online.

For something as important as a professional licensure examination, the PRC announcement remains the one that matters.
