When asked about a good tourist spot to just chill and relax, Tagaytay is one of the places that always come to mind. It is known for its mild climate and amazing scenery given by its high elevation. This high altitude also gives vantage points overlooking Taal Lake and Volcano Island.
Just 60 kilometers away from Manila, it is also a popular weekend destination especially for those looking to escape the heat of the city but doesn’t have much time to go to Baguio. The city is nestled on the Tagaytay Ridge that runs from Mt. Batulao to Mt. Sungay.
Tagaytay is rich not only naturally, but also historically. At the height of the Philippine Revolution in 1896, the thick forests and ridges of Tagaytay served as a sanctuary for many revolutionaries from Cavite and other neighboring provinces.
With its established reputation as a go-to place for many tourists, hotels, resorts, inns, and motels started to pop out everywhere in the city. Most visitors are looking for budget accommodations since they usually stay only for a while, and Airbnb has always been a popular choice for many. Airbnb has risen to popularity since its launch in 2007, it provides hotel-like services via hosts who rent their place for a cheaper price.
Below are some of the best Airbnb accommodations you can book on your next trip to Tagaytay.
