Aria Cucina Italiana

Aria Cucina Italiana in Boracay

It was our first day in Boracay. We landed at Caticlan airport at around 7:00 AM, then traveled all the way to Boracay island.

We checked in at Azalea Boracay, then we spent a few minutes to rest before our lunch. Boracay has so much to offer with numerous restaurants, so imagine my excitement on where to have our lunch. This trip is actually a fam trip or press trip organized by Azalea Boracay for its partners, content creators, and bloggers, so all the restaurants that we tried in our entire 3-day trip were picked by the Azalea Marketing team.

We had our lunch at Aria Cucina Italiana located at D’Mall Boracay Station 2, an Italian restaurant with a nice view of the white beach. While waiting for our food, I had the chance to check out the restaurant and read some info about it – the menu and anything about the establishment.

Aria Cucina Italiana started in 2003. It prides itself as an authentic Italian restaurant with a modern, stylish twist. The restaurant is located just near the beach so anyone can enjoy food with a beachfront dining experience. Since we’re a quite huge group, we set up our long table outside. The place gives customers a mix of modern design with the tropical feels of the nearby beach.

The menu is mostly dishes with pasta, pizzas, appetizers, salads, soup, and a lot more Italian food. Aria Cucina Italiana has its own organic garden in Boracay for a continuous supply of herbs and salads making sure that everything is organic and fresh.

Pasta, Pizza and more Italian dishes

Food finally came out and served one after the other. It was literally like a feast of Italian dishes! Azalea ordered too much food that we couldn’t decide which to try first. Hahaha

First are the appetizers. Most are salads and seafood or slices of salmon and tuna.  Just like Carpaccio Di Tonno, a dish with slices of tuna with olive oil and vegetables.  There’s also this small sliced toasted bread topped with garlic, basil, olives, tomatoes and other herbs called Fantasia di Bruschette. I enjoyed this one, which is a perfect appetizer for me.

Another one that truly made an impression is the dish with mango wrapped in thinly sliced meat called Prosciutto e mango.

Aria’s best-seller among its appetizers is the Rotolino Marchigiano – a wood fire oven-baked pizza roll stuffed with vegetables like eggplant, mushrooms topped with mozzarella, tomato sauce. Try this one when you visit the restaurant.

Italian food will not be complete without pasta! And you can never go wrong with the bestsellers of Aria Cucina Italiana.

First is the famous carbonara with its cream sauce with parmesan cheese and bacon bits. Puttanesca is also something to try with its pasta mixed with olives, garlic, capers, and pecorino cheese.

Of course, Azalea Marketing Team knows that there are some seafood lovers in the group, so they also ordered the Marinara Pasta!

There are also a lot of main courses to choose from at Aria’s. More and more food was served and there’s no way we could consume it all. When it was time for us to chat after our lunch, we didn’t have any idea that there’s still one set of pizza coming!

It’s huge. It’s the famous Pizza Al Metro Capricciosa Hawaiiana Aria – a combination of 3 varieties in one long huge pizza.

After our lunch, Azalea Team offered a van to take us back to our hotel, but we requested that we’ll just walk back to the hotel. We badly needed that because we were all so full and satisfied.
