Black Scoop Café was the brainchild of Louie Cheng Sy, the owner of Infinitea Milk Shop. Already familiar with the recipe for success when it comes to sweet drinks, he opened the first branch of Black Scoop Café at foodie haven Maginhawa Street, Quezon City, in 2019. The café was huge, ready to accommodate up to 200 people at the time.
It soon became a popular hangout spot for dessert lovers and students alike because of its milk tea options and creamy soft-serve ice cream. The super-cozy, IG-worthy interiors of the café also made it a hit with bloggers and led to more branches opening all over Metro Manila. Now, this simple café concept is open for franchising, so more Filipinos can enjoy the popular milk tea and coffee blends of Black Scoop in different parts of the country!
