Finding a hotel suitable for both friends and families isn’t always easy. However, we discovered a gem in Taguig that perfectly fits our group of friends. It’s both affordable and has a great location.
A big shout-out to Eric, our group’s official planner, for finding the City Park Hotel located along Bayani Road, Taguig City. Having grown up in Taguig and with most of my friends residing there, it’s wonderful to discover a hotel where we can relax after dinners or events.
We’ve stayed at this hotel twice, and it’s simply ideal for groups of friends seeking a good staycation.
Last month, Eric, Joey, and I decided to attend Nina’s gig at District One in BGC. Anticipating a late finish, we chose to book at City Park Hotel. We opted for the Signature Suite, which has two queen-sized beds and comfortably accommodates four people.
Perfect Location
The hotel is ideally located for those meeting friends in the BGC area, being just 2 kilometers away. For gatherings in the Makati area, it’s a mere 4 kilometers from Makati’s business center.
For our part, having dined in BGC, the back-and-forth journey to the hotel was a swift one via Grab. As expected, Nina’s gig ran late, but we quickly made our way back to the hotel.
After a long day, returning to a spacious room is a treat. Our room boasted two queen-sized beds, a dining area, and a living room – perfect for those who enjoy late-night chats and a few drinks with friends.
Rooms and Amenities
The amenities truly enhanced our stay. We enjoyed spending time chatting in the dining area. With a 7-Eleven on the hotel’s ground floor and options to order from Grab Food and FoodPanda, meals and snacks were conveniently available. Our stay at the City Park Hotel was indeed comfortable and convenient.
The highlight of my experience at City Park Hotel was the night-time conversations with friends, accompanied by coffee and treats from GrabFood.
The bathroom was spotlessly clean and roomy too. The water pressure was excellent, and the heater functioned well. It’s always refreshing to bathe after an exhausting day. They provided shampoo and soap. However, based on our experience, guests should bring their own toothbrush and toothpaste. Thankfully, there’s a 7-Eleven on the hotel’s ground floor for such needs.
City Park Hotel offers a variety of room types to cater to couples, solo travelers, and especially groups of friends. Besides the Signature Suite we booked, they also feature a Penthouse Suite for larger groups and an Executive Suite for couples. They have a room for every guest’s requirement.
Every room comes with amenities such as a fridge, kettle, flat-screen TV, and a safety deposit box. However, it’s worth noting that the TV isn’t a Smart TV, which means streaming platforms like YouTube or Netflix aren’t accessible. Hopefully, they’ll consider upgrading in the future.
Customer Experience
In terms of staff and service, we experienced top-notch customer service. Assistance was always a phone call away. The reception staff deserve special mention for their warmth and efficiency. The security guards were helpful and courteous.
In conclusion, we’ve found our go-to hotel for group outings. Its location is perfect for my Taguig-based friends. Although I’m the only one from Cavite, I’m always eager to make the trip to see them. The rooms are budget-friendly and ideal for larger groups like ours. Having already enjoyed two stays at City Park Hotel, we’re confident there will be many more to come based on our wonderful experience.
