During my latest trip to Jomalig Island in Quezon, we stayed at this resort located at the end of a long beach with sandbars. It was my third time on the island, and I was delighted to stay and experience the relaxing vibe of El Vito Estuario Resort.
After the long land and sea journey to Jomalig Island, we finally arrived around 10 AM. I have already created a travel guide to Jomalig Island so you can get an idea of the travel experience to this remote island in Quezon. This is one of my favorite islands; it is so raw and relaxing.
Once we arrived at the port, we registered and waited for a habal-habal (motorcycle) or tricycle to take us to El Vito Resort. Below at the end of this post, I’ll list some of the charges for the habal-habal and tricycle.
After a few minutes, we finally arrived at El Vito Resort. This resort is quite different from the usual Jomalig resorts I’ve stayed at in the past, which were located along the beach. El Vito is situated at the end of the long Salibungot beach, where the river meets the sea. It has more trees and is even more secluded than other resorts.
This place is perfect for those who want a more peaceful and relaxing stay on the island.

The Beach
We didn’t waste any time. While waiting for our room to be ready, we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the resort and even went to the beach to admire the sandbars.
El Vito Resort is located at the end of the long Salibungot beach at Sitio Moros, surrounded by lush forest and greenery. If you want to go to the beach, it’s just a quick walk down, and you can experience its beauty.
The views are stunning. Since it was just about noon, we decided to enjoy the views and relax at the resort, planning to explore the beach in the afternoon.
The Beach Huts and Accommodation
El Vito offers a variety of accommodations, perfect for big groups, couples, or solo travelers.
We stayed in the largest hut, which can accommodate up to 10 people for only 2,000 pesos per night. There are two beds downstairs and a large space upstairs. It also has its own CR (comfort room) and bathroom.

If you’re a couple or a solo traveler, you can try their small kubo room for only 800 pesos per night. If I plan to return to Jomalig, this is where I intend to stay.
For a bigger group, there is also an available accommodation for you. They offer a huge kubo with 5 rooms inside that can accommodate up to 15 people for only 3,500 pesos.
The Food
You don’t have to worry about food, as the resort offers meals. For only 150 pesos per meal per person, you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This includes 2 viands and unlimited rice. If you have a bigger group, they can even arrange a boodle fight-style meal for you.
Since we were a large group, we had ample meals during our stay. The food was enough for all of us, with a variety of dishes, mostly fresh seafood.

The Beach
In the afternoon, we explored the beach. El Vito Resort has an excellent location, offering various views and experiences. You can explore the beach, the river, the forest, and more sandbars.
I walked and explored the entire length of Salibungot beach and checked out some of the resorts I had previously stayed at. It brought back some painful memories, but don’t worry, I’m okay now. Haha.
The Habal-Habal Tour
If you want to explore more of the island, you can take the Habal-Habal Tour for only 800 pesos. I’ve done this tour twice already, so I didn’t do it during my latest trip to Jomalig. Instead, I decided to enjoy the island and its stunning views.
