Tucked in the lush greenery of Alfonso, Cavite, near Tagaytay, lies a serene retreat perfect for unwinding with friends or family. The aptly named Hidden View Mansion is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience that begins the moment you approach its entrance.
Upon our arrival, the only visible things were trees, a nearby house, and the large gate. As it opened, it revealed a stunning villa set amidst the calamansi and guyabano trees.

The Villa & Rooms
Hidden View Mansion features a spacious villa complete with a living area, dining, and a fully-equipped kitchen, making it ideal for large groups of friends and families.
The villa’s design is modern and aesthetically pleasing, adorned with paintings and a contemporary fireplace, suitable for any gathering. We enjoyed a videoke session, and although I didn’t sing, we all had a great time.
In addition to the full kitchen, it offers a BBQ grill, providing various culinary options. Guests can either purchase prepared food or buy ingredients to cook. The wooden dining table, which exudes character and a rustic vibe, is large enough to accommodate a large number of guests.

The villa houses four rooms, plus an additional room for a driver or extra guests. Each room is air-conditioned and well-designed, featuring zen paintings and decor.
I stayed in a large room on the ground floor with direct garden access, a spotless bathroom, and hot & cold showers. After spending the late hours chatting with fellow content creators, I had a restful sleep and woke up refreshed, ready for breakfast.
A notable advantage of Hidden View Mansion is its pet-friendly policy. My friend, Rona, brought her fur baby, Ollie, on this staycation. Ollie certainly made our stay more memorable, and I’m sure he enjoyed the pet-friendly environment of the property.

The Stunning Infinity Pool
Just a few steps from the living area lies the infinity pool, arguably the highlight of the property. It offers a breathtaking view overlooking nature, lush with trees and greenery. The area can be chilly at night, being located on a higher part of the terrain.
You can enjoy swimming here while taking photos, videos, and capturing those awesome drone shots.

Non-swimmers need not worry, as the pool features varying depths, starting at 3 feet. Just stay on the shallow end of the pool.
You must experience the sunset at the infinity pool. Whether swimming or just relaxing, it’s a wonderful way to end the day. Imagine sipping tequila or your choice of juice as the sun sets.

The Amenities
Hidden View Mansion has two mansions available for rent. We stayed in Mansion A, while Mansion B, which is larger and also boasts its own swimming pool, is situated just below and can be accessed through a lush garden.
I had the chance to explore Mansion B after our lunch. The garden provides a sufficient pathway to this vacation house. It’s much bigger than Mansion A but has a less modern design.
Just a few meters away from the swimming pool is a fishing pond, where guests can catch tilapia and hito for P250 per kilo – a fun activity for family bonding.

The property offers various activities, including a mini basketball court and table tennis. The videoke session at night was particularly enjoyable. I highly recommend trying it! We also had the chance to experience a bonfire. As the place gets chilly at night, it was a great way to relax and stay warm.
Overall, my stay with fellow content creators was fantastic, and I can’t wait to recommend Hidden View Mansion to my friends and bring my family here.

We used Google Maps to navigate to Hidden View Mansion in Alfonso, Cavite, which is conveniently located near Tagaytay and approximately 2-3 hours from Manila. Waze is also a viable option for navigation.
If you plan to use public transportation, take a bus bound for Alfonso/Tagaytay and alight at Alfonso Crossing. From there, tricycles are available to take you directly to Hidden View Mansion.
