After checking out from our staycation, we visited Kashing’s Bistro in Tagaytay for lunch. It’s a fine dining restaurant along Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway with a casual and friendly ambiance, perfect for those who seek quality and delicious food while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with loved ones.
Kashing’s Bistro offers international cuisine, and having tried their dishes, I can confidently say that this is a restaurant everyone must try in Tagaytay. I’ll share in the blog post all the food we tried and our overall experience.

The Ambiance
Upon arrival at Kashing’s Bistro, we initially thought it might be an affluent vacation house with a homey vibe, giving the feeling of visiting the house of a wealthy friend or relative. Indeed, the staff mentioned that the restaurant was formerly a vacation house transformed into a restaurant.
Upon entering the restaurant, you immediately realize it’s a fine dining establishment, with an expensive-looking chandelier, a grand staircase, and well-appointed comfort rooms.
The restaurant offers tables for couples and small groups, along with private rooms suitable for larger groups celebrating special occasions. Our group tried one private room on the first floor, which can accommodate about 10 people.
Then, the food began to arrive. Kashing’s Bistro offers a variety of options, from salads and appetizers to main dishes, pasta, and pizza.
The Food
Starting with the salads, we tried the Mediterranean Salad, consisting of fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and feta cheese, served with strawberry vinaigrette. As a salad lover, I always seize the opportunity to indulge, and I particularly enjoyed the refreshing taste of this one, especially the strawberry vinaigrette.
Moving on from the healthier options, the subsequent dishes left us feeling delightfully full. All were delicious, but the Buttermilk Fried Chicken stood out for me. You can never go wrong with fried chicken, but Kashing’s Bistro’s version was exceptionally crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
They also served us pasta dishes like the classic Carbonara and the unique Mushroom Pasta. The pizza was also special, with the Texas Chicken BBQ pizza being a standout, featuring homemade dough with a special BBQ sauce that was just delicious.
Another must-try dish is the Frenched Porkchop, thick yet tender and juicy, served with mashed potatoes and Mediterranean salad.
However, the dish that truly stole the show for me was their Paella. We tried both the Chicken Paella and the Seafood Paella, and despite having pasta and pizza, I couldn’t resist indulging in the flavorful and high-quality Paella.
Overall, my experience at Kashing’s Bistro was wonderful. I enjoyed bonding and chatting with blogger and content creator friends. I also commend the exceptional customer experience provided by the staff, who took the time to engage in pleasant conversations with us about their food and service.
Leaving Kashing’s Bistro, I couldn’t help but think that I would return, this time with my family in tow.
