Is the Lambunao Fiesta 2026 Schedule Already Available?
Not completely.
As of August 24, 2026, I haven’t found one final LGU poster or webpage containing every fiesta event with exact times and venues.
However, Lambunao’s approved 2026 procurement plan reveals several activities already being prepared.

Miss Lambunao 2026 Looks Like a Major Event
One thing we can already identify from the 2026 municipal planning documents is the return of Miss Lambunao.
The procurement plan includes requirements for:

What Happened During Lambunao Fiesta 2025?
Last year’s celebration gives us a very good picture of what Fiesta sa Lambunao normally looks like.
The 135th Municipal and Religious Fiesta officially opened on September 1, 2025.

The LGU described the entire celebration as ten days of socio-cultural and community activities highlighting Lambunao’s traditions and local talent.
The agricultural fair featured fresh produce from local farmers’ organizations and farm schools, adding a livelihood component to the fiesta rather than making it purely entertainment-focused.
By September 8, the celebration included Liga Night, where barangay officials gathered for fellowship and entertainment accompanied by a live band.
Then on September 10, the fiesta culminated with the religious procession and concelebrated Mass in honor of San Nicolas de Tolentino.
The final evening featured a live band and foam party in front of the Lambunao Government Center.
The 2026 program won’t necessarily repeat all of these activities exactly, but they show just how much happens during the ten-day celebration.
Will 2026 Be the 136th Lambunao Municipal and Religious Fiesta?
Most likely, although I would wait for the LGU’s official 2026 branding before putting the number prominently in a headline.
The municipality formally called the 2025 celebration the 135th Municipal and Religious Fiesta.
If that numbering continues consecutively, 2026 would naturally become the:
136th Municipal and Religious Fiesta of Lambunao.
That count also fits an important event in the town’s church history.
According to the Municipality of Lambunao, the newly finished stone-walled Roman Catholic church was blessed on September 9, 1890.
The following day, September 10, 1890, large crowds gathered at the church to celebrate the Feast of San Nicolas de Tolentino.
That gives Lambunao’s modern September fiesta tradition a historical connection stretching back more than a century.
Who Is San Nicolas de Tolentino?
Lambunao’s patron saint is San Nicolas de Tolentino, also known as Saint Nicholas of Tolentino.
His feast is observed every September 10.
Saint Nicholas was an Augustinian priest from Italy who lived during the 13th and early 14th centuries.
He became known for prayer, charity and devotion to the faithful departed.
Devotion to him spread widely through the work of Augustinian missionaries, including in the Philippines.

The religious side of the fiesta remains strong.

Lambunao’s 2026 Annual Procurement Plan again sets aside ₱1.2 million for staging the Binanog Festival during the fourth quarter, with activities such as Saot Ka Banog, a torch parade and Padyak sa Binanog.
So don’t describe September’s town fiesta as Binanog Festival.
They are separate celebrations.
What Is Binanog?
Even though Binanog is not the September fiesta, understanding it helps explain Lambunao’s cultural identity.
The Iloilo Provincial Government says Indigenous Bukidnon communities live in Lambunao’s higher mountain areas and are known for the Binanog dance, performed in colorful costumes with gong and bamboo musical accompaniment.

Terminal arrangements can change over time, so confirm the current departure point before traveling.
If you’re coming specifically for the fiesta, allow extra time.

Things to Do in Lambunao During Fiesta Week
If you’re making the trip from Iloilo City, consider staying long enough to see more than the fiesta.
Lambunao has an interesting mix of heritage, nature and wildlife conservation.
1. Visit San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish Church
This should be the first stop during fiesta season.
The church is directly connected with the historical development of Lambunao’s September 10 celebration.
Visit during the daytime if you want to appreciate the structure.
Then return during the novena or main fiesta Mass to experience the completely different atmosphere of a working parish during its biggest annual celebration.
2. Lambunao Public Plaza
The public plaza sits at the center of many municipal celebrations.
In 2025, the fiesta Agri-Trade Fair opened here, with farmer groups showcasing fresh agricultural products.
Liga Night was also held around the public plaza food-court area.
During fiesta week, the plaza is therefore one of the most useful places to check first for ongoing activities.
3. Mari-it Wildlife Conservation Park
