The very first Frankie’s NY branch was dreamed up and opened together by three high school friends: Eduardo Que Firmalo, Kevin Te, and Bin Tanedo. The three friends opened the first branch in Ortigas’ City Golf Plaza in September 2012.
The trio were also chicken wing lovers, so they applied their love for this classic comfort food and used it to put together a cohesive menu that featured a variety of flavors. The three founders also put a strong emphasis on building a friendly work atmosphere, giving valued employees awards, and having fun parties with presentations during the holidays.
From this single branch that perpetually had hungry queues, Frankie’s NY expanded to 15 branches in Metro Manila. This slow but steady growth is because of their desire to maintain high food quality across all branches.
