Driving your own car to NAIA can be one of the most convenient ways to catch a flight, especially if you’re coming from outside Metro Manila, traveling very early in the morning, or returning late at night.
But there is one big question you need to answer before deciding to drive:
How much will parking at NAIA actually cost?
The answer is a little more interesting now because NAIA has two rates you need to understand—the standard overnight parking rate and a discounted rate available to verified airline passengers.
The good news is that if you’re actually flying out of NAIA and can verify your trip, overnight parking can be significantly cheaper than the standard published rate.
Here’s an updated guide to NAIA parking rates for Terminals 1, 2 and 3, including overnight parking, parking locations, payment options and a few practical tips before leaving your vehicle at the airport.
This guide is updated based on information available as of September 23, 2026.

NAIA Parking Rates at a Glance
Parking rates are generally standardized across the official NAIA parking facilities.
Current rates are:
| Vehicle | First 2 Hours | Succeeding Hour | Standard Overnight Rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cars | ₱56 | ₱25/hour | ₱1,200 per 24 hours |
| Motorcycles | ₱22 | ₱10/hour | ₱480 per 24 hours |
| Buses | ₱112 | ₱50/hour | ₱2,400 per 24 hours |
The biggest number here is obviously the ₱1,200 overnight rate for cars.
But don’t panic just yet.
If you’re a verified passenger, you may qualify for a 50% discount on the overnight rate.
That means a passenger leaving a car at NAIA can pay:
₱600 per 24 hours for a car
instead of the regular ₱1,200 overnight rate.
For motorcycles, the discounted rate is ₱240 instead of ₱480, while buses can receive a corresponding reduction from ₱2,400 to ₱1,200 when the required passenger verification applies.
NAIA Overnight Parking Rate for Verified Passengers
This is probably the most important part of this guide.
In August 2025, NAIA introduced a 50% overnight parking discount for verified travelers.
Under the system, passengers who actually flew from NAIA can present their parking ticket together with proof of travel when they return.
For cars:
Regular overnight rate: ₱1,200 per 24 hours
Verified passenger rate: ₱600 per 24 hours
For motorcycles:
Regular overnight rate: ₱480
Verified passenger rate: ₱240
The Manila International Airport Authority confirmed the 50% reduction for verified passengers in August 2025.
This makes airport parking much more reasonable, especially for short domestic trips.
For example, if you fly from Manila to Iloilo for a weekend and leave your car at NAIA for roughly two days, the overnight component could be around:
2 days × ₱600 = ₱1,200
for a verified passenger’s car.
A three-day trip would be roughly:
3 days × ₱600 = ₱1,800
assuming your stay falls within those complete 24-hour periods. Additional time beyond the 24-hour periods may result in additional charges, so treat these numbers as planning estimates rather than your guaranteed final bill.
How to Get the ₱600 NAIA Overnight Parking Rate
You shouldn’t simply leave your car in the parking lot and expect the discount to be applied automatically.
You need to prove that you’re actually a passenger.
The system was introduced specifically to distinguish legitimate travelers from vehicles using airport parking simply as long-term parking.
The basic process is:
- Enter the official parking area and keep your parking ticket.
- Take your flight from NAIA.
- Keep your boarding pass or other accepted proof of travel.
- When you return to Manila, proceed to the designated parking validation counter.
- Present your parking ticket and boarding pass.
- Have your parking validated before paying.
Verified passengers are then eligible for the reduced overnight rate.
My suggestion is simple:
Don’t throw away your boarding pass.
Even if you normally use a digital boarding pass, keeping a physical boarding pass when available can make things easier when you return.
NAIA Terminal 1 Parking
If you’re flying from Terminal 1, the current parking setup primarily includes Parking B and Parking C.
Terminal 1 previously had Parking A, but NNIC closed Parking A in March 2025 as part of improvements to the Terminal 1 arrival area. More recent 2026 parking information lists Parking B and Parking C as the main parking facilities serving Terminal 1.
Terminal 1 Parking B
Parking B is located near the terminal and is one of the most convenient choices if you’re dropping someone off, picking someone up or leaving your vehicle while traveling.
Because it is relatively close to the terminal, it is useful if you’re carrying luggage.
Terminal 1 Parking C
Parking C provides another parking option serving Terminal 1 and is located along the PASCOR Drive side of the airport area.
If one parking area is becoming full, Parking C can provide additional capacity.
This is particularly useful because Terminal 1 can become busy when several international flights arrive or depart within the same period.
How much is overnight parking at Terminal 1?
The rate is generally the same standardized NAIA rate:
Cars: ₱1,200 per 24 hours
Verified passengers: ₱600 per 24 hours
Motorcycles: ₱480 per 24 hours
Verified passenger motorcycle rate: ₱240 per 24 hours.
NAIA Terminal 2 Parking
Terminal 2 currently has two primary parking areas.
They are commonly identified as:
Car Park 1
Car Park 2
Car Park 1 is located in front of the arrivals area, while Car Park 2 is on the side facing the former Philippine Village Hotel area.
Terminal 2 is currently especially relevant for passengers taking domestic Philippine Airlines, PAL Express and AirAsia Philippines flights.
If you’re going on a short domestic trip—maybe Manila to Iloilo, Cebu, Bacolod, Caticlan or Davao—driving and parking at Terminal 2 can be practical depending on where you’re coming from.
Terminal 2 overnight parking rate
The standardized rate applies:
Cars: ₱1,200 per 24 hours
Verified passenger: ₱600 per 24 hours
Motorcycle: ₱480 per 24 hours
Verified passenger motorcycle: ₱240 per 24 hours.
For a two- or three-day domestic trip, this could actually be worth comparing with the cost of taking a Grab or other transportation to and from your home.
NAIA Terminal 3 Parking
Terminal 3 arguably has the most convenient parking setup at NAIA because passengers have several parking areas available, including a multi-level parking building.
Current Terminal 3 parking options include:
Carpark 1
Carpark 2
Multi-Level Parking Building
Carpark 1 can be accessed through the departures/arrivals approach, while Carpark 2 is located in front of the arrivals area.
The Multi-Level Parking Building is near the Terminal 3 arrival area around Bay 14.
Terminal 3 Multi-Level Parking
If I were leaving a car at Terminal 3 for a short trip, this would definitely be one of the parking options I would check first.
The biggest advantage is obvious: it is a multi-level covered parking facility.
That’s helpful if your car will be sitting at the airport for a few days because it provides more protection from direct sunlight and rain compared with an open parking lot.
Terminal 3 is also the home terminal of Cebu Pacific’s Manila operations, so this parking facility is particularly useful for Cebu Pacific travelers.
Terminal 3 overnight parking rate
Again, the standard rate is:
Cars: ₱1,200 per 24 hours
Verified passenger: ₱600 per 24 hours
Motorcycles: ₱480 per 24 hours
Verified passenger motorcycle: ₱240 per 24 hours.
How Much Would NAIA Parking Cost for a 3-Day Trip?
This is probably the type of calculation most travelers actually need.
Let’s say you’re flying from Manila to Cebu on Friday and returning Monday.
You drive to Terminal 3 and leave your car there.
If you qualify as a verified passenger and your vehicle stays for approximately three complete 24-hour periods:
₱600 × 3 days = approximately ₱1,800
That’s the figure I would use when comparing parking with other transportation options.
For example, compare that ₱1,800 with:
Grab from your house to NAIA
plus
Grab from NAIA back home
If you’re coming from nearby areas such as Pasay, Parañaque, Makati or Taguig, a ride-hailing service may still make more sense.
But if you’re coming from Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan or even farther away, driving and leaving your vehicle may become more attractive—especially if your flight leaves very early or arrives late at night.
Is Overnight Parking at NAIA Worth It?
It depends largely on three things:
how far you live from NAIA,
how many days you’ll be traveling,
and how many people are traveling with you.
For a one- or two-night trip, parking can be very convenient.
You’re not depending on a taxi or ride-hailing driver at 3:00 AM.
You don’t need someone from your family to wake up just to bring you to the airport.
And when your return flight lands, your vehicle is already there.
But for a week-long international vacation, the cost starts adding up.
At the verified traveler rate:
2 days = around ₱1,200
3 days = around ₱1,800
4 days = around ₱2,400
5 days = around ₱3,000
7 days = around ₱4,200
These are simple estimates based on ₱600 per 24-hour period and don’t account for additional partial hours or other possible charges.
Once you’re looking at ₱3,000 to ₱4,000 or more, compare the cost with taking a Grab, airport transfer, bus or having someone drop you off.
Why Did NAIA Increase Its Parking Rates?
NAIA’s overnight parking used to be considerably cheaper.
The standard overnight rate for cars increased from ₱300 to ₱1,200 per 24 hours beginning October 1, 2024.
That’s a substantial increase.
NNIC explained that the higher overnight rate was intentionally designed to discourage long-term parking and free limited airport parking spaces for passengers and short-term airport users.
The operator estimated that discouraging long-term parking could free around 1,800 parking spaces across NAIA.
The later introduction of the 50% discount for verified passengers essentially created a compromise:
People simply using NAIA as a long-term parking area still face the standard rate.
Actual airline passengers can qualify for a reduced rate.
NAIA Now Has an Automated Parking System
Parking at NAIA has also become more automated.
NNIC introduced a new automated parking system beginning at Terminal 3 in March 2025 before expanding it to Terminals 1 and 2.
Drivers receive an automated parking ticket when entering, while QR-based systems are used to help streamline exits and payments.
As part of the upgrade, NAIA also introduced additional electronic payment methods.
Depending on the facility and payment station, available options include:
Cash
GCash
Maya
Debit card
Credit card.
I would still keep some cash available as backup, especially when traveling during busy periods or in case an electronic payment method is temporarily unavailable.
Check NAIA Parking Availability Before Driving to the Airport
This is one of the most useful improvements for drivers.
You can now check parking availability at NAIA online before going to the airport.
The airport’s parking information covers facilities at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and displays parking slot availability, although availability can change quickly as vehicles enter and leave.
This is especially helpful during:
Christmas
Holy Week
long weekends
school holidays
All Saints’ Day
major international travel periods
and early morning peak departure periods.
Instead of driving directly to a parking building hoping there is space, you can check availability before leaving home.
Just remember that the number isn’t a reservation.
Someone else can still take the available slot before you arrive.
Can You Reserve NAIA Parking Online?
At the moment, NAIA parking generally operates on a first-come, first-served basis rather than guaranteed advance reservations.
Checking availability online doesn’t mean you’re reserving that parking slot.
If you’re traveling during an extremely busy period, arrive with enough time to find an alternative parking area if your preferred lot fills up.
Can Electric Vehicles Park at NAIA?
Yes.
Electric vehicles are allowed in NAIA’s open parking areas.
However, 2026 parking guidance states that EVs are not allowed to park in the Terminal 3 Multi-Level Parking Building, and EV charging stations are not currently available in NAIA’s parking areas.
So if you’re driving an EV, plan your charge before heading to the airport.
Terminal Parking vs Park ‘N Fly
Another option travelers often consider is Park ‘N Fly, located outside the airport complex.
The concept is different.
You leave your vehicle at their facility and use their shuttle service to get to your NAIA terminal.
Whether that makes sense depends on your trip duration, price and how much convenience you want.
For short trips, parking directly at your departure terminal has one big advantage:
When you return, your car is already at the airport.
There’s no additional shuttle ride.
But for longer trips, it’s worth comparing off-airport parking providers with NAIA’s rate before making a decision.
Parking at the Wrong Terminal
Suppose you’re flying from Terminal 1 but accidentally park at Terminal 3.
Technically, you can still get between terminals, but you’ve just added another unnecessary step to your trip.
NAIA operates free inter-terminal shuttle buses between the terminals, with NNIC reporting a continuous shuttle system for passengers.
But I wouldn’t intentionally park at another terminal unless you have a specific reason.
The easiest arrangement is still:
Terminal 1 flight → park at Terminal 1
Terminal 2 flight → park at Terminal 2
Terminal 3 flight → park at Terminal 3
Your future tired self will appreciate this when your return flight lands.
Tips Before Leaving Your Car at NAIA Overnight
Take a photo of your parking ticket as soon as you receive it.
Also take a photo showing where you parked.
Write down or photograph:
Terminal
Parking building
Level
Section
Row
nearest landmark
You’ll be surprised how easy it is to forget where you parked after spending several days traveling.
Also:
Remove valuables from the vehicle.
Double-check that your windows are fully closed.
Turn your headlights off.
Make sure interior lights aren’t accidentally left on.
Check that doors are locked.
Don’t leave gadgets, bags or important documents visible.
And most importantly, keep your original parking ticket and your boarding pass.
That boarding pass could save you hundreds—or even thousands—of pesos in parking charges.

Final Thoughts
Overnight parking at NAIA became expensive when the standard rate jumped to ₱1,200 per day, but the introduction of the verified-passenger discount makes driving to the airport much more practical again.
For an actual passenger, the number you really need to remember is:
₱600 per 24 hours for a car after passenger verification.
That can make a lot of sense for a short two- or three-day trip—especially if you’re coming from outside Metro Manila, catching an early flight or arriving late at night.
For longer vacations, though, do the math first.
A seven-day trip can already put your parking cost around ₱4,200 even at the discounted passenger rate, before considering any additional partial hours. At that point, a round-trip Grab, airport bus, private transfer or a ride from a family member may be cheaper.
And one final reminder: keep your parking ticket and boarding pass until you’ve left the airport parking area.
Don’t discover after a five-day vacation that the little piece of paper you threw away was the one that could have given you the discounted parking rate.
Parking rates, parking locations and procedures can change. This guide reflects information available as of September 23, 2026. Always check the latest NAIA parking information before your trip.
