I had the privilege of visiting Vigan. Calle Crisologo is one of my favorite spots. The old houses and the street made me feel like I was back during the Spanish era of course minus the shops and the huge number of tourists.

When you visit Vigan, don’t forget to try their Empanada. It’s delicious and filling, just by eating one empanada is almost good as eating one full lunch. Haha There are many empanada stores now in Manila and other parts of the country, but nothing beats the original empanada in Ilocos.

Manila to Vigan via Partas

Still looking for options for bus companies going to Vigan, here’s Partas Bus, one of the major players in the Philippine transport offering bus trips going to the rest of Luzon.
