If you’re arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and planning to travel to Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, or another destination outside Metro Manila, there’s a good chance you’ll need to pass through PITX.
The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, more commonly known as PITX, is one of the busiest transportation hubs in Metro Manila. It connects passengers to provincial buses, city buses, modern jeepneys, traditional jeepneys, and the LRT-1.
And because PITX is located relatively close to NAIA, it’s a convenient place to continue your journey after arriving in Manila.
But here’s the thing. Getting from NAIA to PITX isn’t always as straightforward as it sounds.
You have to consider which airport terminal you’re arriving at, whether you have luggage, how much you’re willing to spend, and what time your flight lands.
Should you take a bus? Is there a direct train from NAIA to PITX? How much does Grab cost? And which option is best if you’re arriving late at night?
In this guide, I’ll walk you through the different ways to travel from NAIA to PITX, including the UBE Express airport bus, LRT-1, taxi, Grab, and other public transportation options.
I’ll also include estimated fares, travel times, boarding locations, and practical tips to make your journey easier.

Where Is PITX Located?
PITX stands for Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange.
It’s located along the Coastal Road and Macapagal Boulevard area in Parañaque City, near the NAIA Expressway.
The terminal serves as a major transportation hub connecting Metro Manila to Cavite and other provinces.
If you’re coming from the airport and heading to destinations such as General Trias, Dasmariñas, Trece Martires, Tagaytay, Naic, or Ternate, PITX is one of the places where you can catch a bus or other public transportation.
It also serves passengers traveling to other areas of Luzon and connecting to longer-distance provincial routes.
One of the good things about PITX is that it’s more than just a bus terminal.
Inside, you’ll find ticketing booths, waiting areas, restaurants, convenience stores, restrooms, and other passenger facilities.
The terminal also has a direct connection to the LRT-1 PITX Station, making it easier to travel between the railway and bus services.
How Far Is NAIA From PITX?
NAIA and PITX are relatively close to each other.
However, the actual distance depends on which airport terminal you’re coming from.
NAIA has separate terminal buildings located in different parts of Pasay and Parañaque.
Terminal 1 is generally closer to PITX than Terminal 3, while Terminal 2 is also within a relatively short driving distance.
As a general travel planning guide:
| NAIA Terminal | Estimated Driving Time to PITX |
|---|---|
| NAIA Terminal 1 | 10–25 minutes |
| NAIA Terminal 2 | 15–35 minutes |
| NAIA Terminal 3 | 20–45 minutes |
These are approximate driving times under ordinary traffic conditions, not guaranteed travel durations.
During rush hour, heavy rain, or major road congestion, the journey can take considerably longer.
You should also account for the time needed to collect your luggage, leave the airport, and wait for your chosen transportation.
NAIA to PITX: Transportation Options and Estimated Fares
Before going into the detailed instructions, here’s a quick comparison.
| Transportation | Estimated Fare | Estimated Total Time |
|---|---|---|
| UBE Express P2P Bus from Terminal 3 | ₱150 per person | 30–60 minutes, excluding bus wait |
| UBE Airport Loop + PITX Bus | Around ₱200 per person | 1–2 hours or more |
| LRT-1 + Airport-to-Station Transfer | Depends on transfer; LRT usually around ₱20–₱30 | 30–75 minutes or more |
| GrabCar | Variable; commonly a few hundred pesos | 20–50 minutes, plus pickup wait |
| Accredited Airport Taxi | Metered or posted official fare | 20–50 minutes, plus queue |
| Jeepney or Local Bus Connections | Route-dependent | Often 45–90 minutes or more |
The estimates are intended for planning and may change depending on traffic, route availability, waiting times, and current transport fares.
For most travelers, I’d narrow the choices down to three.
If you’re arriving at Terminal 3 and the schedule matches your arrival, consider UBE Express.
If you’re traveling with family or several pieces of luggage, Grab is probably the most convenient.
And if you want to save money and don’t mind transferring, you can combine local transportation with the LRT-1.
Option 1: NAIA to PITX by UBE Express Bus
For budget-conscious travelers, UBE Express is one of the most convenient ways to get from NAIA to PITX.
UBE Express operates an airport point-to-point bus service connecting NAIA Terminal 3 with PITX.
The buses are air-conditioned and designed to accommodate passengers traveling with luggage.
Compared with taking several jeepneys and buses, this is a more straightforward option.
UBE Express NAIA to PITX Fare
The published regular fare is ₱150 per passenger.
Payment options include cash and beep cards. Advance tickets may also be available through UBE Express’s official booking channels.
Ask the operator about applicable passenger discounts when purchasing your ticket.
Where to Board the UBE Express Bus at NAIA
The published boarding location for the NAIA-to-PITX service is:
NAIA Terminal 3 – Arrivals Area, Bay 12, Outer Lane.
Once you’ve collected your luggage:
- Leave the baggage claim area.
- Proceed to the public arrivals section.
- Look for the UBE Express bus signs or ticket booth.
- Head toward Bay 12 in the outer lane.
- Confirm that the bus is going to PITX.
- Purchase your ticket or follow the boarding instructions.
- Board the bus and keep your belongings secure.
Make sure you board the PITX service rather than another UBE Express route.
Different buses may use the same general airport loading area.
UBE Express NAIA Terminal 3 to PITX Schedule
The following timetable was published for August 2026:
| Trip | Departure From NAIA Terminal 3 |
|---|---|
| 1 | 4:30 AM |
| 2 | 5:30 AM |
| 3 | 6:15 AM |
| 4 | 7:15 AM |
| 5 | 8:15 AM |
| 6 | 9:15 AM |
| 7 | 10:30 AM |
| 8 | 11:30 AM |
| 9 | 1:00 PM |
| 10 | 2:00 PM |
| 11 | 2:45 PM |
| 12 | 3:45 PM |
| 13 | 4:45 PM |
| 14 | 5:45 PM |
| 15 | 6:45 PM |
| 16 | 7:45 PM |
Important: This is a reference timetable, not a guarantee that every trip operates daily. UBE Express’s October 12, 2026 dispatch listing showed several departures marked unavailable. Check the latest dispatch status through UBE Express before relying on a particular bus.
How Long Is the UBE Express Ride?
A reasonable estimate is around 30–60 minutes once the bus leaves the airport.
One published route listing estimates about 45 minutes.
However, this doesn’t include waiting for the scheduled departure, so your total airport-to-PITX journey may be longer.
Is UBE Express Available From Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?
This is an important distinction.
The published NAIA-to-PITX P2P boarding point is Terminal 3.
Although buses traveling from PITX serve Terminals 1, 2, and 3 on their airport route, you shouldn’t automatically assume you can board the outbound PITX bus at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.
If you’re arriving at either terminal, you can use the paid NAIA Loop service to reach Terminal 3 and then transfer to the PITX bus, subject to service availability.
Alternatively, you can book a direct Grab or an accredited airport taxi.
Option 2: NAIA Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to PITX by Airport Loop Bus
If you’re arriving at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and prefer public transportation, the UBE Express NAIA Loop is an option worth considering.
This is different from the direct NAIA Terminal 3-to-PITX bus.
The NAIA Loop connects the airport terminals, allowing passengers to transfer to other UBE Express routes.
How Much Is the NAIA Loop Fare?
The published fare is ₱50 per person.
The listed operating hours in August 2026 were from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
There isn’t a fixed departure schedule for the regular NAIA Loop, and passengers have been advised to expect waits of roughly 30 minutes to an hour.
NAIA Terminal 1 to PITX Using UBE Express
Here’s the general process:
- After arriving at Terminal 1, go to the public airport transport area.
- Ask for the paid UBE Express NAIA Loop going to Terminal 3.
- Confirm the current boarding point and pay the fare.
- Ride the loop bus to Terminal 3.
- Proceed to the PITX-bound UBE Express boarding area.
- Purchase your ticket for the PITX bus.
- Board the PITX service and continue to the terminal.
Based on the published fares, your total bus cost would be approximately ₱200 per person.
That’s ₱50 for the airport loop and ₱150 for the PITX bus.
However, remember that you’ll be transferring between services, so waiting times can make the journey considerably longer.
NAIA Terminal 2 to PITX Using UBE Express
The process is similar.
The published NAIA Loop pickup location for Terminal 2 is the arrivals area, Bay D6 (City Bus).
From Terminal 2:
- Find the designated NAIA Loop boarding area.
- Confirm that the bus will continue to Terminal 3.
- Pay the loop fare.
- Get off at Terminal 3.
- Transfer to the separate PITX-bound bus at its designated boarding area.
Again, your estimated total bus fare would be ₱200.
Important Reminder About the Free Airport Shuttle
NAIA also operates a free inter-terminal shuttle service for eligible passengers connecting between flights.
Don’t confuse this service with the paid UBE Express NAIA Loop.
The free shuttle is intended for airport terminal transfers under the applicable passenger rules, and it doesn’t take passengers to PITX.
If you’re ending your flight in Manila and simply want to travel to PITX, don’t assume that you’re eligible to use the free connecting-flight shuttle.
Option 3: NAIA to PITX by LRT-1 Train
Here’s something that travelers should know.
You can’t currently board an LRT train directly inside NAIA’s passenger terminals.
However, the LRT-1 now has a station at PITX, thanks to the opening of the first phase of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension in November 2024.
This makes the train an alternative for travelers who can first reach a nearby LRT-1 station.
The main advantage is that trains avoid road traffic once you’re on the railway.
The disadvantage is that you’ll need another form of transportation to get from NAIA to an LRT station.
Which LRT Station Is Near NAIA?
Depending on your airport terminal, possible transfer stations include:
- MIA Road Station
- Redemptorist–ASEANA Station
- Baclaran Station
These are all along LRT Line 1.
The most practical station depends on where you’re starting and how you’re traveling to the railway.
For example, MIA Road Station is an option for passengers coming from Terminal 1.
Passengers from Terminal 3 may find Redemptorist–ASEANA or Baclaran more convenient, depending on road conditions and the available transfer.
How to Get From NAIA to PITX by LRT-1
Here’s the general procedure:
- Leave your airport terminal.
- Take an appropriate taxi, Grab, or available public transport connection to an LRT-1 station.
- Enter the station and purchase a single-journey ticket or use a supported fare card.
- Board an LRT-1 train heading toward the southern stations and PITX.
- Get off at PITX Station.
- Follow the signs and pedestrian connection to the PITX bus terminal.
If you’re boarding at MIA Road, Redemptorist–ASEANA, or Baclaran, PITX is on the southbound route.
How Much Is the LRT Fare?
For short trips between the nearby LRT-1 stations and PITX, the rail fare is relatively inexpensive.
A useful planning estimate is around ₱20–₱30, depending on your boarding station and ticket type.
The transportation cost from NAIA to your chosen railway station is separate.
For instance, if you take a Grab ride to an LRT station and then board the train, your total cost could be higher than taking the UBE Express bus.
It’s worth comparing the options before leaving the airport.
Is LRT-1 the Cheapest Way From NAIA to PITX?
Not necessarily.
The train fare itself is inexpensive, but you still need to pay for transportation from the airport.
If you can reach the station using an affordable local bus or jeepney connection, it may be a budget-friendly route.
But if you’re taking an expensive taxi transfer just to catch the train, the savings may be small.
Personally, I’d recommend the LRT option mainly for people familiar with commuting in Metro Manila or those traveling with light luggage.
If you have a large suitcase, moving between vehicles and station entrances can become inconvenient.
Can You Walk From LRT-1 PITX Station to the Bus Terminal?
Yes.
PITX Station is connected to the transportation terminal through a pedestrian access route.
Follow the directional signs to the PITX building after exiting the railway station.
Once inside, you can look for your bus route, ticketing booth, and boarding gate.
Allow extra time for walking, security checks, and finding your bus.
Does LRT-1 Operate 24 Hours?
No.
LRT-1 has scheduled operating hours and doesn’t run throughout the night.
If your flight arrives late, check the current last-train schedule before choosing this option.
For very late arrivals, a direct ride-hailing service or accredited airport taxi is generally more practical.
Option 4: NAIA to PITX by Grab
If convenience is your priority, taking Grab is one of the easiest options.
You don’t have to transfer between buses, look for railway stations, or carry your luggage through several transport connections.
You can simply book a ride from your NAIA terminal directly to PITX.
This is especially useful if you’re traveling with your family, have several pieces of luggage, or arrive late at night.
How to Book Grab From NAIA to PITX
- Open the Grab application.
- Choose the car transportation service.
- Enter your actual NAIA terminal and the designated pickup point.
- Set your destination as Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX.
- Review the available vehicle options.
- Check the displayed fare.
- Confirm your booking.
- Proceed to the official Grab pickup location.
- Verify the vehicle’s plate number before boarding.
The fare is shown in the application before you confirm your ride.
How Much Is Grab From NAIA to PITX?
Grab fares are not fixed.
The amount depends on your terminal, traffic conditions, available vehicles, service type, and demand.
For budgeting, you can expect a relatively short airport-to-PITX ride to cost a few hundred pesos, but surge pricing and larger vehicle options may raise the amount.
For example, a regular GrabCar might be cheaper during a quiet period than during heavy rain or a busy airport arrival window.
The displayed fare in the Grab app is the best reference for your actual trip.
If you’re traveling with three or four people, splitting the cost may make Grab more economical per person than paying separate bus fares.
Where Is the Grab Pickup at NAIA Terminal 3?
NAIA Terminal 3 has a designated centralized ride-hailing facility inside the multi-level parking building.
According to Grab’s official instructions, the current Grab pickup location is:
Multi-Level Parking (MLP), Level A.
Here’s the general process:
- Collect your luggage.
- Exit into the arrivals area.
- Book your Grab ride and choose the correct Terminal 3 pickup point.
- Follow the signs toward the multi-level parking facility.
- Proceed to Level A when instructed.
- Coordinate with Grab personnel near the designated pickup area.
- Follow the assigned vehicle or PIN pickup procedure shown by the app.
Grab also operates an assisted pickup service at Terminal 3.
If you’re having trouble with the app, look for the official Grab booth or ask airport staff for directions.
Don’t wait at a random curbside area and assume that your driver can pick you up there.
Grab Pickup at NAIA Terminal 1
At Terminal 1, Grab has designated pickup areas at the arrivals extension.
Grab’s published guidance identifies Bays C6–C9 among its pickup locations.
However, airport traffic arrangements can change.
Always choose the pickup location shown in your Grab application and follow the current signage.
Grab Pickup at NAIA Terminal 2
Terminal 2 also has designated Grab pickup points in its arrivals transport area.
You can book through the application or ask for assistance at an official Grab booth.
Again, confirm the pickup location displayed in the app before proceeding outside.
Option 5: NAIA to PITX by Airport Taxi
Another convenient way to reach PITX is by taking an accredited airport taxi.
This is useful if you don’t want to wait for a bus or download a ride-hailing app.
However, you should be careful about which taxi or transport service you use.
Airport authorities have strengthened their rules regarding authorized passenger pickups following reports of taxi overcharging.
Only use official airport transport booths and accredited pickup services.
How to Take a Taxi From NAIA to PITX
After collecting your luggage:
- Go to the arrivals transportation area.
- Look for an official airport taxi or accredited transport booth.
- Tell the staff that your destination is PITX.
- Ask whether the service uses a meter or an official fixed-fare arrangement.
- Confirm the applicable charges before boarding.
- Keep any receipt or booking information provided.
- Verify the vehicle details when possible.
Avoid accepting unsolicited transportation offers from individuals approaching you inside or outside the terminal.
How Much Is the Taxi Fare?
The final fare depends on the service.
Metered taxis calculate charges based on the approved fare structure, distance, and waiting time.
Accredited coupon taxis may operate using posted fixed rates instead.
Since taxi tariffs and airport accreditation arrangements can change, it’s better to confirm the amount at the official transport counter than rely on an outdated online estimate.
PITX is relatively close to NAIA, but congestion can increase the trip duration and metered fare.
Grab vs. Taxi: Which Is Better?
Both can be convenient.
Grab has the advantage of displaying your booking information and estimated fare in the app.
An accredited taxi can be useful when you prefer an official transport booth or cannot get a Grab booking immediately.
If you’re unsure, compare the fare displayed in Grab with the legitimate rate offered at the airport transport counter.
Option 6: NAIA to PITX by Jeepney or Local Bus
For travelers who want to spend as little as possible, taking local public transportation is another option.
However, this is generally more complicated than boarding the UBE Express bus.
There isn’t one universally convenient jeepney route serving all NAIA terminals directly to PITX.
You may need to transfer through the Baclaran or Roxas Boulevard area.
Possible Route Through Baclaran
The general idea is to:
- Travel from your airport terminal to a suitable public transportation stop serving Baclaran or a nearby LRT-1 station.
- Ask which jeepney or local bus route operates toward your intended transfer point.
- Continue by an available PITX-bound vehicle or ride the LRT-1 to PITX Station.
PITX’s published transport guide includes jeepney connections to Baclaran, as well as services linking the terminal to other parts of Metro Manila.
However, the actual boarding location from NAIA depends on your airport terminal.
Don’t assume that the appropriate public jeepney stops directly outside every airport arrival exit.
You may need to reach a legal roadside boarding point first.
Is This Route Worth Taking?
If you’re an experienced Metro Manila commuter, traveling alone, and carrying only a backpack, this can be an option.
But if you’re arriving from a long flight with a large suitcase, I’d personally choose UBE Express or Grab.
The small savings may not be worth the inconvenience of moving through several crowded vehicles.
How to Get From Each NAIA Terminal to PITX
Now, let’s put everything together.
Because NAIA has separate terminal buildings, the best transportation option depends on which one you’re arriving at.
NAIA Terminal 1 to PITX
For Terminal 1 passengers, the simplest option is a direct Grab or accredited taxi.
Here’s what to do:
- Exit the arrivals area after collecting your luggage.
- Find the designated Grab or accredited airport transport pickup area.
- Set PITX as your destination.
- Take the direct road journey to Parañaque.
If you prefer public transportation, you can consider the UBE Express airport loop to Terminal 3, followed by the PITX bus.
Another possibility is transferring to the nearby LRT-1 corridor and riding the train to PITX Station.
Terminal 1 is comparatively close to PITX, so transferring between multiple vehicles may not always be worth the trouble.
Best option: Grab or accredited taxi for convenience; airport loop plus UBE Express if you’re prioritizing bus travel.
NAIA Terminal 2 to PITX
Terminal 2 passengers have similar options.
If you’re traveling with luggage, book a Grab ride or use an accredited taxi service.
For a bus-based commute, you can take the paid NAIA Loop to Terminal 3, then transfer to the PITX-bound UBE Express service.
Keep in mind that the airport loop and the PITX P2P bus have different operating patterns.
The trip may involve two separate waits.
Best option: Grab or accredited taxi; UBE Express via Terminal 3 if schedules align.
NAIA Terminal 3 to PITX
For Terminal 3 passengers, UBE Express is one of the easiest options.
You can board the PITX-bound service from the designated arrivals transport area at Bay 12, subject to scheduled departures.
If the next bus is leaving soon, this can be an affordable and convenient ride.
But if you’ve just missed the bus, compare the waiting time with the cost of Grab.
Remember that Grab pickups at Terminal 3 use the designated multi-level parking facility.
Best option: UBE Express when available, or Grab for a direct ride.
What About NAIA Terminal 4?
Some older transportation guides still mention Terminal 4.
However, the former Terminal 4 is no longer operating as a regular passenger terminal in the same way as the active NAIA terminals.
Its redevelopment plans also changed during 2026.
If you’re checking an old flight booking, terminal guide, or travel itinerary mentioning Terminal 4, verify the current terminal assignment directly with your airline and airport operator.
Don’t travel to the former Terminal 4 based solely on an outdated guide.
How to Get From PITX to NAIA
What if you’re traveling in the opposite direction?
For example, you’re coming from Cavite and need to catch a flight at NAIA.
Fortunately, UBE Express also operates trips from PITX toward the airport terminals.
PITX to NAIA by UBE Express
The published regular fare is ₱150 per passenger.
The listed PITX boarding point is Gate 5, Bus Bay 32, near Entrance 2 and the concierge.
The route serves NAIA Terminals 1, 2, and 3.
PITX to NAIA UBE Express Schedule
The August 2026 reference timetable listed these departures:
| Trip | Departure From PITX |
|---|---|
| 1 | 4:45 AM |
| 2 | 5:45 AM |
| 3 | 6:45 AM |
| 4 | 7:45 AM |
| 5 | 8:45 AM |
| 6 | 9:45 AM |
| 7 | 11:00 AM |
| 8 | 1:15 PM |
| 9 | 2:15 PM |
| 10 | 3:30 PM |
| 11 | 4:30 PM |
| 12 | 5:30 PM |
| 13 | 6:30 PM |
| 14 | 7:30 PM |
As with the airport-to-PITX service, treat this schedule as a reference only and confirm actual available departures before your trip.
For passengers heading to the airport, I strongly recommend allowing a generous time allowance.
You don’t want to miss your flight simply because your bus was delayed by traffic.
What to Do Once You Arrive at PITX
When you reach PITX, the next step depends on where you’re going.
If you’re heading to Cavite or another provincial destination, you’ll need to find your bus route.
PITX has different gates for different routes.
Here are some examples from its published route guide.
| PITX Gate | Selected Destinations |
|---|---|
| Gate 1 | Trece Martires, Dasmariñas, General Mariano Alvarez |
| Gate 2 | Tagaytay, Mendez, Amadeo, Alfonso, selected long-haul routes |
| Gate 3 | Selected Metro Manila city bus routes |
| Gate 10 | EDSA Carousel and several other city/provincial services |
These are examples rather than a complete gate directory.
Gate assignments and operating schedules may change, so check the terminal’s current electronic departure boards or ask at the information desk.
NAIA to General Trias via PITX
If you’re heading to General Trias, Cavite, your route will depend on the specific barangay or area you’re visiting.
For example, if your destination is around Manggahan or nearby locations, you can ask about buses traveling through General Trias or connecting routes through Trece Martires.
Here’s the general journey:
- Travel from NAIA to PITX.
- Enter the terminal and find the Cavite-bound transportation section.
- Confirm which route passes through your destination.
- Purchase a ticket if required.
- Board the appropriate bus.
If your destination is somewhere else in General Trias, ask the transport staff which service is best.
NAIA to Tagaytay via PITX
If you’re traveling to Tagaytay, you can use PITX as your transfer point.
After arriving at PITX, look for Tagaytay-bound buses or routes serving nearby destinations.
PITX’s published guide places selected Tagaytay, Mendez, Amadeo, and Alfonso services under Gate 2.
Confirm the route and fare before boarding.
This is a popular option for travelers who arrive in Manila and want to proceed directly to Tagaytay without staying overnight in the city.
NAIA to Dasmariñas via PITX
Passengers heading to Dasmariñas can also use PITX.
The terminal lists Dasmariñas among its Cavite bus destinations under Gate 1.
After arriving at PITX, check the boarding gate and ask whether the bus passes through the exact part of Dasmariñas where you’re headed.
Best Transportation Option Based on Your Situation
Sometimes, the best way to choose isn’t by looking at the fare alone.
It’s also about your circumstances.
If You’re Traveling Alone With a Backpack
Consider UBE Express if you’re at Terminal 3 and the departure time works.
If you’re comfortable navigating public transportation, the LRT-1 alternative is also possible.
If You’re Traveling With Large Luggage
I would choose Grab or an accredited airport taxi.
You can travel directly to PITX without carrying heavy bags through multiple transfers.
If You’re Traveling With Family
Grab can be a practical choice.
Instead of paying separate bus fares, you may be able to share the ride cost.
Just select a vehicle that can accommodate everyone and their luggage.
If You’re on a Tight Budget
The UBE Express service from Terminal 3 offers a clear published fare of ₱150.
If you’re coming from Terminal 1 or 2, compare the two-bus cost with any practical local public transportation option.
If You’re Arriving Late at Night
Grab or an accredited taxi is generally the more practical choice.
Scheduled airport buses and LRT services may not be available.
If You’re Catching Another Bus at PITX
Choose the transportation option that gives you enough time to make your connection.
If the provincial bus has a specific departure time, don’t plan your airport transfer too tightly.
Travel Tips When Going From NAIA to PITX
Here are a few practical reminders that can make your journey easier.
1. Check Your Arrival Terminal
Before your flight, check whether you’ll be arriving at Terminal 1, 2, or 3.
Airline terminal assignments can change, so don’t rely on an old travel guide or previous flight experience.
2. Prepare Smaller Bills
If you’re taking public transportation, carry some cash in smaller denominations.
Not every payment system or vehicle will necessarily accept your preferred cashless method.
3. Check the Latest Bus Schedule
UBE Express schedules are subject to change.
If you’re relying on a specific departure, verify whether that trip is operating.
4. Consider Your Luggage
A large suitcase might be manageable on an airport bus.
But transferring to crowded jeepneys or walking through railway stations can be more difficult.
Choose your route accordingly.
5. Avoid Unauthorized Transportation Offers
This is particularly important when arriving at NAIA.
Use the official airport transport facilities, legitimate ride-hailing applications, or authorized bus services.
6. Save Your Destination on Your Phone
Before leaving the airport, save PITX as your destination in your preferred map application.
That way, you can check your route and confirm that you’re heading toward the correct terminal.
7. Allow Extra Time During Rush Hour
Metro Manila traffic is unpredictable.
Even short routes can become slow during busy commuting periods, holidays, or heavy rain.
8. Keep Your Valuables Secure
Keep your phone, passport, wallet, identification documents, and important travel items close to you.
Avoid leaving valuables unattended while waiting for transportation.
9. Check Your Provincial Bus Schedule
If you’re going to Cavite, Batangas, or another province, remember that reaching PITX is only the first part of your journey.
Your next bus may have its own departure schedule.
10. Ask Airport or Terminal Staff When Unsure
Airport and PITX transport arrangements can change.
If the boarding location looks different from what you expected, ask an authorized staff member rather than following an unfamiliar person offering transportation.

Taking transportation is safer and more practical.
Can I Go From NAIA to Cavite Through PITX?
Yes.
PITX is one of the major transport hubs serving Cavite-bound passengers.
Depending on your destination, you may find buses or connecting transportation to Trece Martires, Dasmariñas, General Mariano Alvarez, Tagaytay, and other areas.
Is PITX Open 24 Hours?
PITX operates as a round-the-clock transportation facility.
However, that doesn’t mean every bus route, ticketing counter, or railway service operates 24 hours.
Always check the specific route you need.

Final Thoughts
Getting from NAIA to PITX isn’t particularly difficult once you know your options.
If you’re arriving at Terminal 3, the UBE Express bus is worth considering because it provides an affordable connection to PITX without requiring multiple public transport transfers.
If you’re coming from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, you can still use the airport loop and transfer to the PITX bus, although the additional waiting time might make Grab a more convenient choice.
The LRT-1 is another useful option, particularly for commuters who are comfortable making an airport-to-railway transfer.
Personally, I think your best choice depends on the amount of luggage you’re carrying, your arrival time, and how much convenience you’re willing to pay for.
If you’re traveling alone with a small bag and have plenty of time, taking public transportation can help you save money.
But if you’ve just arrived from a long flight, you’re traveling with your family, or you’re carrying several suitcases, a direct Grab ride might be worth the additional cost.
And if you’re continuing to Cavite, Tagaytay, or another provincial destination, PITX is a convenient place to start the next part of your journey.
Just make sure to check the latest bus schedules, verify your airport terminal, and allow enough time for traffic and transportation transfers.
Hopefully, this guide helps make your trip from NAIA to PITX easier, whether you’re returning home, visiting family, or exploring another part of the Philippines.
Safe travels!
