When I joined the media team covering community-based tourism in Mayoyao, we were divided into different accommodations in town. Our group was assigned to stay at Mayoyao View Inn.
Well, overall, I felt fortunate to be at Mayoyao View Inn with its comfortable rooms, amenities, and stunning views.
Firstly, the location is excellent. It’s near the municipal hall and tourism office, our usual meeting point for the three-day tour.
We didn’t need to wake up too early to prepare because it was just a quick walking distance away. It’s also near the plaza, with several stores, markets, and cafes, making it very convenient. However, if you plan to buy food or drinks at night, make sure to do so earlier, as the stores close a bit earlier than usual. Remember, you’re in the mountain town of Mayoyao.

The Rooms & Amenities
Upon check-in, we had breakfast while waiting for our rooms to be ready. The staff of the accommodation are like caretakers, ensuring everything is fixed and prepared for guests.
Mayoyao View Inn is owned by a local. That’s why it looks like a home or a vacation house. The owners decided to transform the house into an Inn since they now reside outside the country.
Now, let’s check out our rooms. There are rooms inside the house itself on the first and second floors. But, our assigned rooms are the Mountain View Rooms located on the other side of the house, accessible through concrete stairs.
There are three rooms there, each with a spacious balcony offering stunning views of the Mayoyao mountains. Each room has two beds, but you can also request an additional one.
My roommate was Jan, a fellow blogger, and we had two beds and a nice bathroom. We didn’t need air conditioning as the air was already cool. At night, we just needed to open a small portion of the window to let the natural air in. CHECK ROOM RATES HERE

Though our schedule was packed during the day, it was nice to sleep and relax in our room at Mayoyao View Inn. It also has a large living room and dining area if you plan to eat there. They also provide coffee. If you plan to request food, simply coordinate with the staff, and they will prepare it for you. Just inform them in advance.
Our room, the Mountain View Room, costs about P1300 and is good for three people. Besides this option, there are many room choices for groups or solo travelers. Just coordinate with them accordingly.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Mayoyao View Inn is its unparalleled tranquility. Marky, a fellow blogger, aptly described it as the perfect retreat for unwinding and completing writing tasks. Returning to Mayoyao and staying here to focus on our creative endeavors sounds like an ideal plan indeed.
